The UCSF Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics (DEB) offers three Certificate programs in Health Data Science, Advanced Clinical Research and Implementation Science. DEB trains students in methods for studying disease causes and prevention in general populations, evaluating diagnostic tests and treatment efficacy in clinical settings, and using evidence-based approaches in clinical practice. We offer high-quality education and training for undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral/fellowship students. The emphasis in all our programs is on the integration of population-based research methods with clinical applications.
