The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics trains students, residents and career professionals in methods for studying disease causes and prevention in general populations, evaluating diagnostic tests and treatment efficacy in clinical settings, and using evidence-based approaches in clinical practice. We offer high-quality training opportunities for high school, undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral/fellowship students. The emphasis in all our programs is on the integration of population-based research methods with clinical applications.
