Registration for Academic Year 2026–27 is Open

Important Update (July 2026): Our new enrollment platform is now live! Whether you're new to the Implementation Science Training Program or have taken courses with us previously, please use the new ImS enrollment form to register for all future courses.

If you previously received an enrollment confirmation through our former system, your enrollment remains unchanged. The new enrollment form will be used only for new and future course registrations. If you would like to confirm your enrollment, please feel free to contact us.

After submitting the enrollment form, you will receive:

  • A copy of your form responses
  • An invoice by email, including payment instructions

You may pay for your entire program up front or on a term-by-term basis. Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of payment.

If a course reaches capacity before the registration deadline, you will be placed on a waitlist and notified.

Please submit payment by the registration deadline:

  • Fall: August 15
  • Winter: December 1
  • Spring: March 1

If a registration deadline has passed, please contact us to inquire about enrollment opportunities:

[email protected]

If you have any questions or encounter any issues during enrollment, please let us know. We'll work with you to ensure your enrollment is completed correctly.

Winter: December 1

Spring: March 1

Enrollment will be finalized and confirmed upon receipt of payment.

Pay for all courses in advance or one term at a time

Courses may be paid for in full or on a term-by-term basis. Enrollment is processed in the order that payments are received. If payment is received after a course has reached capacity, you will be placed on the waitlist and notified.

If a seat does not become available, you may apply your enrollment fee to a different course or request a full refund for that course.

Enrollment Fees

Academic Year 2025-2026 and 2026-2027: The fee for each course is $2,900. A reduced fee of $2,250 is available for individuals affiliated with UCSF, individuals based in countries designated as low- or lower-middle-income-economies (LMIC), and individuals based in areas of ongoing armed conflict. Applicants seeking the reduced fee will be asked to provide support for their status. UCSF affiliation is defined as concurrent enrollment in a UCSF–sponsored residency or postdoctoral fellowship program; or a registered student in one of the UCSF professional schools or graduate programs; or individuals who hold full-time salaried UCSF faculty, academic, or staff positions.

Fees do not include books, supplies, or software. (These costs are minimal as most readings are from open-access journals).

Cancellation and Change Requests

If you cannot attend a course after having paid the fee, you may request a change by sending written notice to  [email protected]

If written notice is received at least 60 calendar days prior to the course start date, you may:

  • Defer enrollment in the same course or select another Implementation Science course that starts within the next 12 months without an additional fee, or
  • Receive a refund minus a $100 administrative fee.

If written notice is received at least 30 calendar days prior to the course start date, you may:

  • Defer enrollment in the same course or select another Implementation Science course that starts within the next 12 months by paying a $200 administrative fee, or
  • Receive a refund minus a $200 administrative fee.

If written notice is received at least 5 business days prior to the course start date, you may:

  • Defer enrollment in the same course or select another Implementation Science course that starts within the next 12 months by paying a $400 administrative fee, or
  • Receive a refund minus a $400 administrative fee.

Learners who wish to withdraw after the course begins are asked to kindly inform course faculty, as well as [email protected]. In most courses, you are welcome to change your status to audit. Auditing students retain full access to course content but are not expected to submit assignments and will not receive a completion letter at the end of the course.
