Research Interests
I study how structural determinants of health influence resource allocation strategies and health policies. My prior work explored how violence in Burkina Faso affects sick children's likelihood to seek care, how place of residence interacts with health and symptom severity to influence risk of severe COVID-19 outcomes, and how timing and duration of poverty throughout the life course impact people's brain performance.
