Overview

ATCR Certificate students are required to complete 28 units of coursework. In addition, students are encouraged to take one or more electives according to their interests. The majority of our learners hold part-time or full-time positions, so we try to provide as much schedule flexibility as possible.  We record all core-course lectures and the majority of our elective lectures.

Notes

* EPI 201 can be taken in the fall or the spring.
** ATCR Certificate students may opt out of EPI 204. Students who opt out of EPI 204 must take the equivalent of 3 units in another elective(s).

Highly Recommended Elective:

Electives can be taken during any quarter

Attendance

The majority of our learners hold part-time or full-time positions, so we aim to offer as much scheduling flexibility as possible. We record all core-course lectures and the majority of our elective lectures. While most of our courses are flexible, some require in-person attendance.

Core courses with in-person attendance requirements
Electives with in-person requirements
  • Winter Quarter
    • EPI 205 | Clinical Trials sections
    • Alternates with seminar, every other Tuesday
  • Most elective lectures are recorded; however, a few elective courses that are discussion/seminar-based require in-person attendance. Check before enrolling.

Attendance at all other lectures/sessions, although highly encouraged for maximizing learning, content retention, and building community, is not required for all other lectures and labs.
