  • Learn the methods required to perform both observational and experimental clinical research;
  • Plan and implement one or more clinical research projects; and
  • Analyze, interpret, and present clinical research data.

Individuals interested in our formal degree programs can view the Certificate in Advanced Training in Clinical Research or the Master's in Clinical and Epidemiological Research.

Individuals interested in a shorter (7 weeks) introduction to clinical research can view the Summer Clinical Research Workshop.

"The UCSF TICR program has given me the skills and confidence to go from being an active research team member to leading clinical research projects. Because of my training through TICR, I am confident in my research skills and methods and am adding meaningful contributions to my field, not just in publishing papers."
